Founded in 1994, the National Center for Minimal Access Surgery of Cuba, is the national reference headquarters dedicated to therapeutics and minimally invasive surgery, in addition to constituting the postgraduate education center of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, dedicated to the qualification, training and certification of national and foreign specialist doctors in the domain of basic and advanced techniques of Minimal Access Surgery.
Its international medical care room offers its patients private rooms equipped with comfortable furniture, medical and nursing services 24 hours a day, bed for a companion, bathroom with hot and cold water, air conditioning, television with international channels, WIFI internet service , telephone service with international outlets, food, à la carte except when a medical diet is recommended.
The center has diagnostic areas equipped with advanced technology, a clinical laboratory, an imaging service, modern operating rooms and an intensive care unit.
